Join us for a hands-on pottery workshop where we’ll make beautiful decorative ceramic bee feeder bowls mounted on metal stakes, complete with clay pebbles to help our buzzy friends safely drink water and bathe during warmer months.
These water feeders will support local bees, encourage pollination in our vegetable garden, add a pop of colour to your own outdoor space and will be dotted among the flowers and veggies at JVS to create a thriving, bee-friendly environment.
The workshop will be led by Amy Wilson (www.amywilsonpottery.com), a professional ceramicist with a passion for Judaica art and community creativity. Amy will guide us step-by-step, sharing inspiration, templates, and techniques to help you create your own unique piece of garden art.
Bring your own vegan lunch.
Let’s create, connect, and craft something beautiful for the bees!
There is the option to make 1 bee feeder for the JVS garden or 2 bee feeders - 1 for the garden and 1 to take home. If you are making 1 bee feeder, you can leave early, but you are also welcome to stay for the whole workshop.
