Join us in our lovely garden for our JVS family event and meet other families in the community.
For those who are keen, we will start with some light gardening - watering our lovely veg patch. There is lots of space for the children to run around and play in the garden.
We will have a picnic in the garden - cooked by JVS chefs and volunteers - to include pasta and fruit salad (let us know if you need gluten free).
This is an event for families only - you can only attend as an adult if you are bringing a child :) Extended family members such as aunts, uncles, grandparents or family friends also welcome if bringing a child.
Suitable for children aged 0-12 years.
If you'd like to take part in gardening, arrive for 11am and bring children's gardening tools if you have (e.g watering cans, spades). Otherwise, arrive between 11 and 11.45am and come hang out in the garden - we will be eating at 12. Bring games, food and drinks provided.
This is a volunteer led event and we ask that everyone mucks in to help set up and pack away at the end.
