Have you ever sown seeds using a “seed sushi roll”? Join us to learn this fun method, along with more traditional sowing techniques. You’ll also have the chance to help plan what we grow in our beautiful garden and hear how you’d like to get involved.
We ask that all participants take their seed pots home to grow on a sunny windowsill, then you can keep some at home to continue to grow and and bring some of them back to JVS in around four weeks to be planted in our garden.
We will provide seeds, but feel free to bring along any spare seeds you may have.
Open to all - adults and accompanied children (over 7 years).
This event is not at our usual venue. One of our lovely volunteers has kindly agreed to host in her garden in Mill Hill East- address will be shared closer to the time.
We’re looking for volunteers to get involved in the garden, and help with watering during the week - no experience is necessary. We’d also love to hear from more experienced gardeners who can help plan and run activities. Whether you have a little time or a lot, we’d love for you to get involved.
Email: zoe@jvs.org.uk if you would like to find out more about joining the gardening club and if you would like to be added to the gardening whatsapp group.
